For this service C.F.F. Sistemi S.r.l. normally uses standards used in the defence sector as it believes they are the most complete and appropriate for obtaining a final result capable of fully meeting the needs of customers. In this regard, “milestones” are defined and the planning takes place according to the following phases:
PDR
(Preliminary Design Review)
In this phase, together with the client, is issued a document that describes the requirements of the project, then its feasibility is analyzed and its architecture sketched, consequently the necessary preliminary technical documentation, which describes its peculiarities, is issued.
CDR
(Critical Design Review)
In this phase the project is gutted in its details with the final objective of freezing it, all the theoretical and practical verifications necessary for the performance characterization of the project and essential for the definition of the compliance with the requirements are also implemented. At the end of the CDR all the technical documentation necessary for production, testing and maintenance is issued, and the qualification plan which will be applied to the project is drawn up, complete with the relevant test plans.
TRR
(Test Readiness Review)
In this phase, using the documentation generated by the CDR, the prototypes destined for the subsequent qualification are produced and tested.
FQR
(Final Qualification Review)
It is the real qualification phase, the prototypes are subjected to all the environmental conditioning that the final product may undergo during its life (extreme temperatures, thermal cycles, falls, vibrations, radiations, electrostatic discharges etc.). If the prototypes do not pass some tests then the necessary corrective actions are taken, the documentation and the prototypes are updated and the test is re-executed. At the end of the FQR all test reports are drawn up.
FAT
(Factory Acceptance Test)
All the technical documentation is collected and submitted to the customer for its approval, together with the customer the final product conformity tests are performed.
